The awakened heart - Living without fear
Sunday 28th April 10am-12.30pm @ Lopping Hall, Loughton
“There is a light that shines beyond all things on earth, beyond the highest, the very highest heavens. This is the light that shines in your heart.” – Chandogya Upanishad
This workshop will focus on healing yourself of the trauma that lives within so that we can purify our consciousness and go about our lives from a happier more authentic place, a place of Ahimsa, nonviolence to ourselves and others in thought, action, word and deed.
The body remembers everything, the deceptions the heart breaks, the betrayals, the let downs, every time you have been brought to your knees and every time you have contributed to bringing another down (we are all guilty). Stress, anxiety and fear cause chemicals to be released from the brain which go deep into our organs, tissues, muscles or any aspect of our physiology causing diseases (dis-ease), blockages of prana (our life force energy) and manifestations of injury and illness.
Our yoga practice brings everything to the surface from multiple deep layers, it makes us responsible and accountable to face the shit, feel the sensations and release the tensions that live in the cells. It allows us to ask for forgiveness, creates a space for self-enquiry, to grow from our experiences and to become the embodiment of living prayer, to bring us back to our true selves, who we all really are deep inside
Satchitanada
truth, consciousness, bliss
Join us for a beautiful morning of heart flow vinyasa and Kundalini yoga – an opportunity to bring your shit to the table, to honour, accept and release your perceived flaws, and negative thought patterns with compassion to create space to be the best version of yourself to go out into the world the with patience, grace and radiance.
We will begin with a full bodied dynamic vinyasa flow using energetic expansions and contractions to direct the flow of energy to and from the heart chakra Anahata and surrounding area, the gateway between spirit and matter, the upper and lower triangle the dense manifest human aspect of ourselves upward to our more subtle and spiritual centres. Eventually transcending into a Kundalini Kriyas and meditations moving us to the essence of our “Self”, our true state of bliss.
“Love is a process in which ego is lost and infinity is experienced” Yogi Bhajan
Expect joyful flowing movements, heat, laughter, backbends, mantras, mudras, pranayama meditation and rejuvenation.

Aura Purification
10am-12.30pm @ Lopping Hall, High road, Loughton, IG10 4LF
In this month’s workshop we will be working with what is known in Kundalini yoga as the 8th Chakra, the Aura, the all-encompassing electromagnetic field of energy that surrounds us and everything else in existence including Earth.
Beginning with an energising flow to clear the energy channels of any blocks in our physical body enabling the Prana lifeforce (energy) to flow freely, we will use Kundalini yoga Kriya technology (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) to re-set, strengthen and balance our Aura.
“The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds your body; it acts as a container for your life force, bringing confidence, security, mercy, and love. A strong aura attracts positivity and repels negativity, like a shield. Illness cannot penetrate to your physical body. It gives a strong sense of security and an uplifting presence. A weak aura can make you feel paranoid or a lack self-trust. Negativity can penetrate into the psyche and physical body.””
Everything has an energetic field surrounding it, it reflects and consolidates the powers of the other energy centres (chakras) which is why it is often referred to as the 8th chakra. For a highly attuned human the field can extend for up to 9ft- We can consciously alter the Projection and protection of our electromagnetic fields by the way we think, act and do. Karma gets caught in the field, as do lies and bad energy so it is important to reset, strengthen and balance the field when can.
“Your shallowness or greatness of the soul shows up in your aura.” ~ Yogi Bhajan
The Kriyas we will use will cleanse and clear the field to prevent bad karma, disease and illness following us around. Yogi Bhajan said if our Aura is strong and pure we will attract prosperity.
Riding on the waves of the transformative autumnal equinox the workshop a perfect time for retuning and transformation to occur.
Expect a soft Vinyasa flow, 3 Kundalini Kriyas – consisting of Asana (postures), Mudras, Mantras (sacred chants), Pranayama (breath work).
In Kundalini yoga we wear white as it automatically extends our Auric field, so you are most welcome to wear white of light colours – This is not mandatory, it is more important to feel comfortable and at ease to go deep within your own experience!
Everyone is welcome – Beginners / Intermediates / Advanced (or anyone/anything with an Aura! J)

Full Moon Elevation Workshop
10am-12.30pm @ Lopping Hall, High road, Loughton, IG10 4LF
This month’s workshop will pay particular attention towards the health of the 6th Chakra Ajna also known as the third eye and which corresponds to the Pituitary gland in the physical body. On day of the full moon itself, our energy will be at its highest and most receptive to the influence of the moon, therefore creating a profound opportunity for change and elevation.
Yogi Bhajan said that the glands are the “guardians of health”.
The Pituitary Gland is known as the ‘Master Gland’ as it controls the entire glandular system which includes the thyroid & parathyroid (throat chakra), Thymus (Heart chakra) adrenals & pancreas (Solar Plexus chakra) and reproductive glands (Root & Sacral chakra), and the Pineal gland which is the Crown chakra.
Keeping the Pituitary gland happy is vital for our overall health, well being and vitality.
When our internal physiology is aligned, and everything is in balance, the mind is then capable of accessing higher states of consciousness, leading us towards our natural state of bliss, truth (Sat Nam).
The mantra of the Pituitary Gland is, “Wahe Guru” which translates as
“I am in ecstasy when I experience the Indescribable Wisdom.”
An expression of the indescribable experience moving from darkness to light—from ignorance to truth.
In this workshop we will fire up inside with a beautiful vinyasa flow focused on alignment to open the body and the mind, to come to a place of balance and calm to prepare us for the Kundalini kriyas which focus on revitalising our glandular system by aiding the circulation of prana to balance the chakras.
Expect an invigorating flow, two Kundalini kriyas to cleanse, tune up the chakras and elevate, a Pranayama set and Mantra.
It will be a jam packed 2.5 hours of blissful yogic technology which will alter your physiology leaving you in a more balanced state.
You may wish to bring a blanket for the savasanas’ and meditations…..

Releasing stress to experience vitality
10am-12.30pm @ Lopping Hall, High road, Loughton, IG10 4LF
Stress is a natural and necessary part of everyday life, there is no getting away from it, without it we wouldn’t grow as individuals and quite simply life would be boring if everything was going perfectly all the time.
Stress can be defined as the body's adaptation to change, change occurs in every instant, therefore in every instant we are creating new stress response patterns into our physiology based on our thoughts, beliefs, and our emotional responses to situations (real or imagined) to these changes causing reactions from the nervous and glandular systems, in particular the adrenal glands the home of our “flight or fight” response.
Our stress patterns effect the way we breathe, hold ourselves, move, react to people and situations. Initially these patterns are there to help us prevent our nervous system being constantly overwhelmed in but continually activated state they can block the natural flow of prana (life force energy) and ease in the body, leading us to become stiff, rigid, stressed and unhappy. It is generally not the stress factor which is unhealthy, it is the response pattern(’s) hold on you which is!
Beginning with a deep, energising and invigorating Vinyasa flow to awaken every cell in the body, and to get the mind into a state Dharana (single point of focus) and back into the body, we will then play with asanas (poses) to demonstrate that challenges and perceived difficulties are not all bad after all.
We then move on to the Kundalini Yoga Kriya which Yogi Bhajan taught to eliminate stress response patterns from the physical body, freeing blockages in nervous and glandular systems and to cleanse and rejuvenate the adrenal glands. Practicing Kundalini Yoga releases tension held in the organs, nerves, and glands, to create an internal biochemistry of balance and calm, bringing the body and mind towards an Equanimeous mind which creates the space for a state of healing and vitality to flourish.
Expect Pranayama (breath work), Asana (physical poses), Mantra (chanting), Mudra’s (sacred energy seals).
"Kundalini Yoga is a method to become nothing, so everything can flow through you."
-Yogi Bhajan
